Aerotow

Experience the quiet thrill of hang gliding! You will be towed up to 2,000 feet above the ground by an ultralight in a tandom flight with an instructor, and released to the wind and sky.

If you are aerotow rated, you can be towed up to 2,000 feet or higher and cruise over the beautiful Virginia countryside and land back at the flight park, or go cross country and give us a call. We will pick you up as long as you are within a 20 mile radius of Buffalo Ridge Airsports.







A package deal for tows is available: 10 tows for $120.

If you are not aerotow rated, you can get your USHPA aerotow rating at BRA.

Students get an introduction to hang gliding by flying tandom with an instructor. Tandom lessons teach students how to control the glider at altitude and how to set up landing approaches. For more information, go to
